The Classic kit is suitable for beginners with basic soldering experience. The Radio Edition and Future Player kits are best suited for intermediate makers. All kits include a detailed PDF guide with photos and diagrams. If you've soldered a few components before, you can build any of our kits.
No! All kits ship with firmware pre-flashed on the microcontroller. You simply assemble the hardware and it works right away. If you want to customize the firmware, the full open-source code is available on GitHub.
You'll need a soldering iron (25–40W), solder, a multimeter, and basic hand tools (screwdriver, tweezers). The kit includes all electronic components — no specialty equipment required. A helping-hands tool is recommended but not required.
No subscription required! Web radio streaming uses free, publicly available internet radio streams. You only need a Wi-Fi connection. The device comes preloaded with 50 popular stations and you can add your own custom stream URLs at any time.
